KORG EXB-FW Expansion Card - For the Korg M3 workstation.
The Korg EXB-FW FireWire Expansion Board option provides 2 channels of digital audio Input and 6 channels of digital audio Output, in addition to FireWire MIDI for the Korg M3 Music/Workstation.
The Korg EXB-FW allows you to use the Virtualized Hardware functionality. Virtualized Hardware is a feature that allows audio signals and MIDI messages from your M3 to device to be routed via a dedicated Korg editor running in your DAW software and sent to tracks in your host application, letting you use your M3 as though it were a plug-in software instrument.
Other applications include sampling into the M3 from your computer, processing computer-based audio through the M3's effects, and controlling your other plug-in instruments via the M3's many hardware controllers and unique KARMA function.
Korg EXB-FW System Requirements
* M3 Operating System Version 1.10 or higher is required to use the EXB-FW
* Windows XP Home Edition or Professional, Service Pack 2 or later
* PC CPU: Pentium III/1 GHz or better, Memory: 512 MB or more (1 GB or more is recommended), Monitor: 1,024 x 768 pixels, 16-bit color or better
* Macintosh OS X version 10.4.11 or later
* Apple G4 800 MHz or better (Intel Mac is supported), G5 or Core Duo or better is recommended, Memory: 512 MB or more (1 GB or more is recommended) Monitor: 1,024 x 768 pixels, 32,000 colors or better
